Amazon Warehouse Gamble
*Mind the picture, very unorganized atm!*I bought this monitor off the Amazon Warehouse section (open box basically) for next to nothing. The description was that it had a large mark on the side, gambling the fact that it may not be ideally useable, I reluctantly bought it for a mere $180 with some refunded funds from a prior purchase I spent a total of $130. The monitor came untouched, no marks, perfectly mint. Strange. That being said:Pros:-240 hz, fast, responsive and giving you the upper hand in FPS-Game profiles offers specific, customizable presets fitted for your specific needs-Brightness and sharpness are great, but lacks in color customization overall-(if you can snag one on warehouse) you won't find a cheaper 240hz-Easy to install a monitor armCons:-The menus are sub par, and navigating them with your limited options forces you to touch up your colors on Nvidia control panel.-The stock stand is atrocious, nightmarish even. I've had around 4 monitors, from 60hz to 240, and none of them had a stand as awful as this one. Whoever designs these deserves a mental evaluation before resuming work at LG because its just so bad. If you don't plan on putting this on an arm, don't buy it, you will NOT have IDEAL room for a mousepad and your keyboard COMFORTABLY. On the flipside, if you're investing in 240hz and dont plan on getting an arm you're doing it wrong, just saying lol.-Physical menu navigation knob: small plastic nub that is not ideal, I'd prefer the Asus VG24 arrows over this.

Fastest IPS I have experienced!
I am a huge fan of LG products. I currently have an LG 27GL850-B as my primary display (1440p IPS 144hz) and just picked up this 240hz as my competive display. (I play OW at a high tier which tends to be very fast paced I have a 3900x and 2080ti that holds 240 frames without dipping) I have been waiting for this monitor to be released since my last 240hz burned out on me and I wanted to keep both monitors LG and 27in. My previous 240hz was an Asus PG258Q and wow does this display put it to shame. The colors alone are miles ahead of TN panels, better viewing angles etc. I have seen some people complain that 27in and 1080P is not a great combo as far as pixel density or visual grainy / broken lines in rendering. Personally I think it looks fine... You dont really buy a 240hz monitor for graphics quality, strictly performance for competitive titles and usually game settings on low... you can always increase the anti-aliasing in game if it bothers you that much. The native 240hz refresh rate paired with fast or faster response time in the settings work great (I use fast), I dont notice any blurring or smearing. My only issues is there is currently an occasional stutter (this could be for a number of reasons) my best guess would be my DP cable or that there is not a driver update out for this monitor yet as this is barely the first week the monitor has been available to purchase. My 27gl850 works flawlessly so I am not worried about waiting for a driver for this one. Overall I am very satisfied with the purchase and certainly a fan of LG for getting their Nano IPS to the faster refresh rate tiers.

Best gaming monitor
By the time I write this review, I don't know if it will still be for sale. LG never seems to disappoint in their gaming monitor section. Have had the monitor for almost 3 years and it is still a beauty to look at and game on. The 240hz is amazing and the quality is what you get for a 1080p, but you can tell that it is high end. Highly recommend!

Super fast response times
I actually ended up getting both the 27GN750 and the 27GL83A because I needed monitors for a desk where there's a TB docking station I use with my portable gaming/workstation pc, my personal laptop, and my work laptop. For gaming, compared to my Acer XG271HU there's much less ghosting. Compared to my Asus PG35VQ both the 27GN750 and 27GL83A feel much more responsive in dark scenes(though they don't look nearly as good).Comparing the 27GL83A to the 27GN750, they're both very responsive, but with the 144hz panel if I move the in game camera very quickly I can still count the number of distinct images I see trailing behind. With 240hz I can definitely still see distinctly separate images trailing behind where the camera presently is moving, but there's so many more so it feels totally smooth unless I really flick the mouse quickly. Both of these displays are perfect for gaming, but the 240hz is noticeably better in anything with very fast motion.

I love this monitor for First Person Shooters - keep response time on FAST!
I upgraded to this monitor from another LG model - replacing my old 144hz LG to this 240hz. The initial jump from 60hz to 144hz (back in 2015) blew my mind, but this jump from 144hz to 240hz is a bit more subtle. If you play first person shooters, this monitor is perfect if you can hit FPS greater than 144. I like to compare higher refresh rate to "bullet time" from the Max Payne series - the more hz, the "slower" time seems to be, and the more accurately you can hit your shots during fast movement.Turn Adaptive-Sync on if you have a Gsync NVIDIA card, or whatever the AMD equivalent is. ***BUT BE WARNED*** Do NOT adjust the RESPONSE TIME option on this monitor. FAST (the default option) is the best, and if you set it to FASTER, it will make your game run/look like garbage.
