This is a great idea to get more amps out of your adapters. Usual amps are one. This has up to 3 amp charging, so you can charge things quicker. Would recommend

When my devices are plugged in to be recharged, I get this about 80% of the time: "Charging".I get this about 15% of the time: "Slow charging. Check device".This multiport charger has 4 ports. For 3 of the ports, I get the message: "charging". When I plug it into the red port, I get "Fast Charging", and indeed, my phone or tablet it charged up in about 1/3 of the time it usually takes to reach 100%.This is wonderful. I have various tablets and other devices that do not need to be charged in a hurry. I don't mind plugging them in and leaving them plugged in overnight to reach full charge. This includes rechargeable flashlighs of all kinds, as well as other weird stuff like rechargeable plasma arc lighters. But my phone I want charged up, ASAP. Like anyone else, I have my phone with me at all times, usually right in my hand. I often go to bed and my phone is still in my hand (I KNOW I am not the only one to do this). So when I want my phone charged, I want it done NOW. This multiport charger does that. Just an hour or two, and my Galaxy S9+, which has a battery big enough to last the entire day, is fully charged up again. I can't ask for more than that. Also, this charger is now a "must bring" item when I travel. When you are in a hotel room, it is a big convenience to be able to charge 4 devices with just one plug.

It's smaller than my 3USB port Quick Charger Adapter (HZQDLN) and provides faster charging. With my Samsung Note 8, the difference between the QC3 port and the regular 3.1A ports is only about 7 minutes. So it's fast no matter which port you use. Bought it for ~$10.50. A value at this price compared to the other similar units. I didn't think I'd like the non-folding plug. But after having a few folding plugs break with age, or not sit flush in the outlet, I think I prefer the non-folding, rigid design now. This adapter also sits vertical in (most) power strips, ensuring it only uses one plug. My folding units sits horizontal, and block two or more plug spots.

I have been using this wall charger for a little over a year. It has worked very well up till now. Out of nowhere I smelled a burning smell. It took a little while but I finally tracked that smell down to the charger. The unit was also very warm to the touch. I am very concerned that a fire would result if I continue to use it. I don't have any choice but to dispose of it. I am disappointed but I am glad the story isn't much worse (a fire).
