works great,looks good
I bought my house 12 years ago and this tile covered the entire floor slab in the basement...loved it, simple, clean, and brightened the basement up with "monlithic pattern." Then a couple years ago, a pipe broke while away and about 120 square feet of flooring sat soaking wet for a few weeks... and so that 120 square feet of tiles started coming up. Ordered replacement tiles on line .... who would have thought these tiles were still being made and not discontinued???...and they were exact match, easy to put down...sooo easy...and they look great all over again. Obviously these tiles hold up very well too..as the original 1000 square feet are still in place and look almost like the new ones, couldn't tell if you didn't know which area is new. They do have an embossed pattern on them.. a random gentle ripple pattern, that you cannot see in the photo of the tile...just FYI.

Not great
I was only able to use about 5 of the tiles in the packet as the rest were marred, scuffed or stained. We’re not asking for the Taj Mahal here, just a useable product. These are not the same tiles as they used to be. I have these tiles in my kitchen and bathroom and love the look of them. I’ve purchased a few boxes ofd these throughout the years to replace a tile here and there as needed. Loved the old tiles. Easy to use, trim and apply. In addition to the fact the most of the pack was not useable for the above reasons, the paper on the back of the tiles is very hard to remove, like I had to pick it off it little sections. One positive is that the tiles were thicker than the other ones. I did reach out to the seller requesting a refund as most of the pack was unusable. They did write me back and requested photoS, but I wasn’t able to attach and it just didn’t work out in the end for a refund.

Fool-proof tiles!!!!
I'm honestly not sure what all the negative reviews are about with these. I've never laid a single tile or done any type of flooring in my life, but these were a breeze for me! I installed them myself in my entire kitchen, over a course of two days. The tiles are adhesive, but I added a dallop of flooring glue on the bottom of each one since my kitchen is pretty high in traffic. I let them set for about eight or nine hours before walking on them and all was well. I did have one or two shift slightly when I snuck to the refrigerator at the two hour mark to get a drink, but they wiggled back into place well.My father is a handy man and recommended that I seal them, just like any tile flooring would need, so I covered them in several coats of scratch-and-stain-resistant sealer. Perfection! The only drawback was that there were a few tiles (about a dozen or so out of the nine boxes I purchased) that had marks or discolorations. I contacted the seller and they took care of me, right away! Very friendly, too.I've received so many compliments on these tiles and they gave my kitchen more of it's own identity. Overall, I'm so happy!UPDATE: It’s been about four years and my checker floor in the kitchen is still going strong! I reseal it about once a year in spring, and give it a good scrub down once a month, just like any other floor. It still looks fantastic!

Easy Quick Solution, but cheap
I give this flooring 3 stars only because it is not by any means a spectacular product. This is a clear example of you get what you pay for. The biggest problem I found with these tiles, is that the pattern or cut is not identical from tile to tile. Once we got to laying these, the center lines did not match up when you laid the tiles squarely together, and the colors (although only black and white) were not consistent. We spent precious time sifting through boxes of tiles to find the best fits for nearly every tile we laid after the first. With that said, they did seem to adhere well, although we found ourselves cleaning up a lot of glue residue. Tip: Isopropyl Alcohol 91% worked very well for the clean up, but made a lot of fumes. The area should be very well ventilated if you find yourself using this tip. I also highly advise using a vinyl flooring finish/sealer after all the glue residue is cleaned up, to protect the thin layer of color, and to seal the joints so no more glue comes out, and water can not get in. We found a product at The Home Depot that worked for this. In the end this tile worked well for a cheap, easy, fresh floor, especial with the cautious installation and application of the finish/sealer.

Excellent for price.
Great for what it is. I'd use it again. Great adhesive quality-buy an extra box for your trim screw ups or for (if needed) future repair. Install when floor & tile are warm. Make sure surface is prepped & clean. I did a re-tile cover up on an old peel and stick-all went great. Not industrial quality-but a great deal for the price.Made my wife happy.

Not worth it.
This is the third time I have had to rip up buckling and chipping tiles. It’s also my third time buying replacements. The first time I had them put down professionally. Makes no difference. Now I’m stuck. It’s like having bad teeth. Constantly at the dentist’s office!
