I required additional memory for a game I was playing. A faster new computer was out of the question. Found these memory card at a great price and with exceptional speed. The brand was recommended by the gaming community. I can see them lit up through the slits in the case. I can see how cool they would be in a clear case. The led light cycles through the colors. It took me about 30 minutes to figure out: I had to download iCue, disable Aura in BIOS, and only then could I set the DIMM color. I already had two of these same exact one so buying two more for a total of 64 GB of RAM at 3,600 MHz there's a really noticeable upgrade honestly even with the 32GB it's more than enough to play AAA games and render a whole bunch of mods and textures the speed is really good the color looks good it has a slim profile obviously it's the SL I will be honest I bought a pair of these unopened from a seller that was not corsair they were brand new but when I went to install them they did not work so I have had one failed pair of these but the ones I had installed in the beginning 2 years ago are holding up very strongly and these two are running just as good I mean obviously they're the same part # so one downside I would say one of the motherboards that I tried putting these on at one point in time was a gigabyte ab350 gaming gen 3 and I ended up getting a few errors when downloading the Icue software but I mean they still worked I'm using a MSI b550 gaming gen 3 now and my wife is using a MSI b450 gaming plus Max and they worked brilliantly in both of these mobos
