(PICTURED BOOK NOT INCLUDED!)My son has had three surgeries this year, so I bought the book you see in the pictures and decided he also needed the dog from the book. (I had a the same book and a different dog as a present before I had my tonsils out when I was 5 as well)Because I paired this plush with the book (about a dog named Josh who also gets surgery, and promises that you’ll be okay, and to stay by your side every step of the way) he brought it to each of his procedure appointments and it has brought him SO much comfort. He brings it with him everywhere and it’s held up to all the love it’s received. Dont let the price deter you, it’s worth EVERY penny.

perfect for cuddling
This stuffed animal is gorgeous. It is about the size of a 3 month old golden retriever pup. The color is a little bit darket than our real golden (70lb in pic), Ellie. We have been very pleased with all of our Douglas "stuffies". We received a smaller golden (Bella) and a lab (Mandy) recently and they were both beautiful and soft. This stuffed animal, "Honey" is no exception.

Much cuter than the picture
This is the second Douglas Honey golden retriever that I’ve purchased and this puppy does not disappoint. He really has such a cute, realistic face and he’s a great size to cuddle with. The stock photo does not look like Honey at all. It looks more like Bella which is another Douglas golden.Honey is the nicest golden that Douglas makes.My kids love their Douglas plush dogs and we have quite a collection of them.
