Surprisingly good for the price
It's very lightweight, which was initially surprising, but it works well enough. It's made of super cheap materials, but uses a standard bl-5c battery and does exactly what it needs to! I can't speak to the battery life, but I don't care for the LEDs and it will be plenty for my use.The trackpad is small, but does multi-touch and is fairly accurate. The RF works great. The keys are a cheap membrane, but have a nice tactile click. Overall, I'm quite happy with this, especially since I paid less than $10 for it.My only real complaint is that I wish the keyboard was smaller and the trackpad was larger, and I would personally have swapped the media keys and arrow keys around, but it's perfectly usable as-is.

Works greatly!
It works great as described! It does have 7 colors but the instructions didn't mention that I could find. I came to this page to read the description and found how to change colors which is using pad on lower part of pad left and right while holding FN button. It comes with charger and works on my laptop. USB dongle is in battery door. Pull it out and plug n play.(This is better than $35 I got on ebay(ponybro brand) which quit completely working. )I give this one 5 star.

Not bad for the price, but has flaws
See the bottom of this review for addressing some quarks with this keyboard, including sudden loss of connection.Overall this remote keyboard is pretty nice, providing nice functionality with lots of options, including volume control, shortcut keys for common programs and 3 ways to perform a mouse click (mouse pad, left/right of touch pad, and two buttons located on the left side of controller). The touch pad supports two finger scrolling, but I haven't been able to use any other gestures like zoom. The back light illuminates the entire keyboard, allowing for easy nighttime typing, and the keys are rubberized and provide a nice "click" like an old style PDA. Unfortunately ALT functions are not illuminated by the back light, so keep that in mind. There are some flaws and annoying aspects of this remote which although minor, are worth mentioning:The key coating will wear out fairly quickly, as I already see tiny flecks falling away after just 3 weeks of use. Expect key button wear to become noticeable after extended use. The spacebar and ENTER buttons are larger than the other keys, but each still have the single small switch on the keyboard matrix, which means you have to press them directly in the middle. The sides of the spacebar and ENTER key will just depress, but not register input.Design: A bit bulky (like an original Xbox Controller) and made of smooth plastic. Smaller hands may experience some difficulty using this remote keyboard. Add grip tape to the sides to increase comfort while using. The keyboard layout has a few odd choices for key placement like only having a left SHIFT and += being located at the bottom left, but most keys found on a standard keyboard are represented on this remote model.Battery: The battery is a type BL-5C rechargeable lithium. At 300 mAh it is pretty low end and won't last long if you keep the keyboard back light on constantly. Fortunately you can upgrade it fairly cheaply, and it recharges quickly. Turning off the back light will stretch the included battery for quite a long time. The battery compartment is clearly designed to incorporate either the BL-5C or two AAA batteries which is determined at some point in manufacturing. Depending on the brand you buy, your power source may vary. The touch pad is a nice feature, but it is cheap, and offers terrible accuracy. You'll experience difficulty getting your screen pointer to go exactly where you want it to. The right side of the touch pad has a scroll function, but it only seems to have "hyper-speed" enabled which will cause your screen to wildly fly up and down. It is so sensitive, I had to cover it with black duct tape so I wouldn't keep accidentally hitting it and losing my place on a webpage. An issue with this keyboard occurs when accidentally hitting the RF button (Fn + F1), which is located next to the back light button (Fn + F2). I am still confused why the RF button exists. The "Instruction Manual" doesn't discuss any of the keyboard's functions, and hitting this button seems to just suspend the keyboard's connection with the USB dongle. Pressing the button again does not reconnect the keyboard. If this happens to you, try switching the keyboard off/on and then give it a few seconds. If that fails to make it reconnect, turn off the keyboard, disconnect the USB dongle, turn on the keyboard and then plug the dongle back into the receiving device. If the keyboard only works when in very close proximity to the dongle, press the RF button and normal operation should resume after 5 seconds. No idea why it does this. There are also other colors you can use than just the simple RBG. If you press and hold the Fn+F2 button and tap parts of the touch pad, you can get colors like ice blue, neon yellow, purple and pink. Pressing other buttons while doing this sometimes creates interesting color combos. Feature or bug? I haven't deduced any rhyme or reason to this, but it keeps the color even after turning off the keyboard!Final thoughts: Despite its flaws, this keyboard provides a lot of convenience where a traditional mouse & keyboard would prove impractical. The instruction manual is your basic small Chinese tri-fold paper that doesn't provide any useful information, but plenty of comical misspellings and grammar. You're on your own to solve any issues or to figure out features. Perfect for using while relaxing in bed or while kicking back on the couch. There are better remote keyboards out there, but for the low price, this one is hard to beat if you don't mind the flaws mentioned.

It stopped working.
I was fairly happy with my purchase until today when the stupid thing decided not to work anymore at the most inopportune time. I'm trying to trouble shoot the issue ...I can't figure out how to update the drivers or whatever ...all and all I'm over this nonsense. Garbage.

Not what I expected, cheap battery
This thing had to be charged every other day, and we just used it as a remote to watch YouTube on TV for a few hours a day. The battery compartment was designed to be able to use the rechargeable battery or regular ones, but the metal contacts were missing. A better grade replacement battery would have cost more than the device. The buttons started sticking, and it would randomly change colors, too. It's cute and felt good in the hands, and if it had a decent battery in it, we would have loved it.

This was a game changer for me. Worth it!
I was looking for a cordless mouse when I stumbled and was skeptical. I can say for certain that it’s a game changer for me. I can now use my laptop from a distance when hooked up to my TV.
