The media could not be loaded. This was the perfect starter kit because I learned what I need and don't need. I also don't like buying too many things (e.g., the chawan bowl and the whisk holder) especially if I realize I don't like it later. So this starter kit really appealed to me, and I highly recommend it.As someone who is not preparing matcha as a ritual, I only need the bamboo whisk because I just use a tea spoon to measure my matcha and I don't sift it. I just whisk away in hot water and my matcha latte taste fine. I've had my whisk for about 6 months at use it at least once a week. This past month, I've used it daily and it is still functional and doesn't appear moldy. I attached a video of its current state. After I'm done whisking my matcha, I'll pour hot water in a bowl, whisk the matcha remnants off my bamboo whisk, and then rinse my bamboo whisk with room temperature water. After, I'll air dry it and store it away once it's completely dry. The size of the whisk is fine and it is exactly what I wanted. Since I don't use the sifter for my matcha, I use it for other things when I cook and it works well! It hasn't rusted and it is durable. The bamboo scoop was fine but just unnecessary for me. Now that I know that I'll be preparing matcha long term, I'll look into investing in a whisk holder and a chawan bowl.

Such a good matcha bowl! I use this bowl on the daily, and it has lasted me for years. I also put this in a dishwasher after each use and it has not scratched or chipped.Its comfortable and functional and allows me to whisk matcha at a comfortable speed. The size is perfect even when I am making more than one matcha.The appearance of this bowl is also bright and can be a decor piece if you have a matcha bar at home.

I love making Matcha in the morning, but my bowel had no pour spout. This makes a mess trying to pour my freshly mixed matcha into my thermos sipping cup. This bowel is identical to mine “except no pour spout. This bowel pour spout is perfect for pouring freshly mixed matcha into my go cup.

I purchased this whisk a few months ago and here are my opinions of it:Overall this whisk has been very useful when making my matcha lattes. The bamboo whisk creates a smooth matcha that makes my lattes 3 times cheaper and more tasty compared to the cafes I've gone to. The only complaint I have with this product is that the whisk wasn't able to fully expand before each time I've soaked it. I'm not sure if it has any effects toward my making of matcha but so far my lattes are non-affected.
