Game changer
I use this for giving my 3 month old calpol or gripe water. Some reviews said they needed to make the hole bigger, but I didn't need to at all, even the thick calpol went through nicely (but my baby does have quite a strong suck!). Super easy to use, just measure the dose into a syringe and attach to the dummy, pop in baby's mouth and slowly dispense, or in my case I just let my little one suck the dummy as normal and he drained the syringe himself.Worth mentioning that it doesn't come with a syringe, and you'll need one with a long end to secure into the dummy. The syringes that typically come with calpol bottles won't fit very easily as they have a flat end. It's made giving medication so much easier, I don't have to worry about him spitting it out or him moving his head lots when I'm trying to give it just though a syringe. Not the easiest to clean/dry as it's such a small hole, but I leave it to soak and then rinse it through before leaving it to air dry.

Ideal for giving meds to baby with laryngomalacia
My son like many babies has a floppy larynx/laryngomalacia which means that giving him meds with a syringe will make him choke and cry a lot. This dispenser works really well - it doesn’t upset him or choke him and it speeds things up. If giving a medication that’s palatable I’d recommend giving a small push of the syringe initially to give them a drop to taste and then let them suck the rest. I’d also suggest buying a pack of disposable syringes (the ones I got are standard and fit the dummy’s hole) to save time and effort. I steam sterilise mine (I’ve got 3 since I give 3 meds a day) but I reckon UV sterilising may also work.

No syringe and hole very small
Hi,Excellent concept but I am struggling to find a syringe to buy separately to work with the dummy. Does anyone have any recommendations please?

Syringe dummy
I’m not sure it makes much difference to putting the syringe in mouth.

A must have for new parents.
This is just great. Seems a bit pricey for what it is initially but I cannot stress how much use it gets already.Admittedly, we were getting along just fine giving The Goblin (said with much love) gripe water and infacol just with a syringe/dropper but is was a VERY messy affair, and would always need to offer a dummy after to make sure it had all been swallowed.Less mess, less fuss. And, if you're a new parent and afraid of accidentally harming baby's soft palate (you likely wouldn't but the fear is real), more parental confidence.Has a stopper so it doubles as an actual dummy if needed. This gets used at least with every feed and then cleaned and chucked in a basin of Milton afterwards. I tend to use a colostrum syringe to draw the Milton up into the teat to be good and thoroughCons: a little bulky, teat could have a more ergonomic shape but The Goblin doesn't seem to have any issues latching on it.All in all, I'm buying at least another one if not two.

Couldn't be without
MUST HAVE my baby girl is on a liquid medication twice daily and this makes it absolutely seamless couldn't be without. Downside is it doesn't come with any syringes however they're about £3 for a multi pack on here (,search slim end syringe) they fit perfectly

Great idea
Great idea and works well. However it was really frustrating it didn’t come with a syringe. The ones that come with calpol are too big it goes everywhere, it wasn’t clear on ordering it’s not included, I also think it’s very expensive when you need to buy this separately. I brought it to make my life easier but having to now order syringes it’s made it the opposite as I can’t use it and needed it for tomorrow.

Life saver for medicine
This saved me, this (unlike the bath jug) is excellent. Our baby had to take liquid medicine every day and has done since she was 2 months old, without this I never would have been able to get the medication in her without her choking. We got the syringes off amazon, they are the ones I also used to collect colostrum, people who say they can’t find ones that fit confuse me, every one I have tried so far does.
