It's a great idea but even at full charge, you have to push the pedals a few times before it switches. It's very time consuming to push the pedal 3 or 4 times until it works and you look silly on stage. Kinda sucks.

Pedal is only functional if you have the app actively open. Because of that, for me, it's completely pointless.
