I bought this heater in may or so of 2024, as a Christmas present for my dad; he works in a garage and was always complaining about his old heater in the Winter, how it didn't put out much heat anymore and didn't last long on a propane tank (but of course he wouldn't buy a new one because this one still works!), so when I saw this on a sale, I bought it.He was happy with it when Christmas came, and when he went back to work the heater went with him. He didn't tell me the hose had a leak and the heater kept turning off until a few weeks later, because he thought I'd feel bad. He'd tried to buy a new hose in secret, but none of the local hardware stores had a hose that was compatible.I emailed Flame King customer service. I wasn't looking for a replacement, because I had bought the product so long ago; I just wanted to know if they sold the proper hose and where I could get it, and sent them an image of the heater's serial number.They responded by simply sending me the tracking number for the replacement part, sent free of charge! They were amicable about it, even over email.I don't know if that sways anyone, but it sure is rare to get an actual person through customer service these days, nevermind actual good service!

Good product and fast shipping

I have a 24 X 24 garage with 8" ceilings and this little heater brings the temperature up in no time, about 20 to 30 degrees in 15 minutes depending on the outside temperature. I can't run this constantly because it would get to warm, I run two radiant heaters and use this to help maintain a comfortable temperature. It's not terribly noisy and I would have given it 5 stars except the piezo ignitor is a little finicky and having trouble lighting the flame.

Works great

This forced propane heater is the stuff! I needed something to heat an area in my detached garage! I purchased this Flame king heater . I hooked it up turned on the propane, clicked the starter on time and we had heat! Did a magnificent job. I would recommend this to everyone.

DO NOT BUY!!! Gas hose leaks at the crimped connection to the 5psi regulator. The company keeps sending replacement hoses and they all leak at the same spot. They won’t refund my money because I bought it on Amazon.. should have known better than to trust Chinese Junk.Zero Stars

Used this for a few seasons now and it works great to warm up my 900 square foot shop. Starts well, heats well and moves air nicely. Seem pretty reasonable on propane usage, but i haven’t kept records or anything.Overall, really glad I picked this up.

After ordering a part, and then several trips to the hardware store, I finally got it working.It is quiet, so you can listen to some tunes while working on your garage. But it's not going to take you from cold to warm right away. It's going to take some time. So just adjust for that.I bought it on prime day, and didnt really open it or look at it until last week.The hose that came with it was long enough, but it didn't come equipped with the adapter to fit a standard 20lb propane tank. So I went on line and bought a hose that would fit a standard 20lb tank with a regulator and the adapter. Turns out that hose didn't fit the heater.Made two trips to Ace Hardware to get the correct adapter, regulator and fittings for both ends. That's when I finally got it working.But that's the way my luck goes. Seemed to do an ok job. But if your looking for faster heating times, find something with the more btu.
