Gorgeously made!
I use these frequently in postcrossing, or to send along a cute little STEM inspired female card. The quality is nice, cards are sturdy. I did empty out the entire box and place the pairs together, so I can see which ones I’ve sent and which I still have a pair of. Adequate space on the back to write your correspondence, and I love the cute little facts on the front.

A worthwhile purchase especially with the Women in Science book
We recently read Rachel Ignotofsky's first book, Women in Science. These postcards are great for reminding us of the different women we learned about. There are 2 each of the 50 women featured in the book. On one set we are copying down some basic info about each women to use for timelines or review, the other set we are sending out as postcards. There is not much information on the back but these are still fun and we are very happy with them. Hope a set is made for her second book, Women in Sports, as we would buy those too. If you have a friend who is a Postcrosser or science-minded, these would make a nice gift due to the variety and nice thickness of the cards.

Beautifully Illustrated and Informative
Beautifully illustrated pictures of scientific women. There are women from all disciplines of science, from biology to engineering to mathematics. The postcards each contain a full-body illustration of the woman in question, along with various items that relate to her field of study and achievements (for example, the Marie Curie card features beakers and Erlenmeyer flasks). The cards each feature one color scheme, which adds a nice whimsical feel. The cards also feature facts about the scientist with their specialty and birth/death years on the back. The set features 2 copies of each card/scientist.I used these to hand out to students during a school science events and they loved them! Hopefully they will help inspire more girls to go into STEM fields!

Beautiful art, weird printing.
There are two sets of the postcards. The first set printed out a lot lighter than the second set. Not sure why they are different. Otherwise, it’s very beautiful

Top-Notch!
It's easy to see why this box of WOMEN IN SCIENCE postcards is a hit. Based on Rachel Ignotofsky's "Women in Science" illustrations, the box contains two each of fifty cards illustrating the contributions of scientific women that range from the ancient (Hypatia), to the unsung (Dorothy Hodgkin, Biochemist and X-Ray Crystallographer), to the highly "sung" (Rachel Carson, Marie Curie) to the downright surprising (actress Hedy Lamarr, whose invention in "frequency-hopping" radio helped improve American torpedoes). Each card is done in Ignotofsky's puckish signature style, featuring good-humored portraits on dark-brown backgrounds that are loaded with facts. The cards are of good quality and should survive the rigors of international mailing -- here in the USA, they can go for a thirty-five-cent postage stamp. Highly recommended..
