This set is designed to be used with the round metal style swing set legs. I actually needed something to secure a small wooden playscape and thought I would give this a try.It really worked out well. The metal straps and chains were easy to manipulate to conform to the square wooded legs and this anchor set had the flexibility to allow me to adjust things as needed.We have very hard and rocky soil in our yard but the anchors went into the ground surprisingly easy and are holding very tightly in the ground.I want to acknowledge that I am using this anchor set differently than what is recommended by the manufacturer and I am not suggesting you do the same. If you do, it is at your own risk.'That said, I think this anchor set is reasonably priced and was an excellent choice for my needs.,

These anchors are easy to screw into the ground using a screwdriver for leverage through the anchor eye. They hold the swing set solidly while children are at play. The only drawback & the reason for just 4 stars that I see is the bolts are much longer than needed and could pose a hazard for little feet/ankles. Cutting them could just leave sharp edges and pose a cut hazard. A 1/4”x 1” bolt would be sufficient, with a steel acorn nut, instead of the black plastic one in the kit.

I've bought 3 packs of these anchors. I've used them on a trampoline, a kids "rollercoaster", and gave one to my parents for a small windmill. They work great. I've had to make a few adaptations from the instructions, but everything I've needed comes with the kit. You may just want a screwdriver for twisting the anchors into the ground. Don't be afraid to skip the chain if you don't feel like you need it. My trampoline hasn't gone anywhere in 60mph+ winds!

Of good quality but had to to send back because it wasn't exactly what I needed. But if needed I would do purpose from again

I purchased these to secure my son's swing set to the ground. I live in Virginia, ground is what I would consider to be average, not really rocky, maybe hard clay towards the bottom of where these stakes would hit. I had seen the reviews where people are breaking off hooks and thought maybe it's some installation error. NOPE. I have dog tethers that are larger than this and go into the ground without issue. The first one of these I put into the ground, BENT as I was turning it to where the hook faced 180 degrees from its original position. I finished that hole with a different stake, then put the first one back into the ground.For the remaining holes, I dumped water on the locations and partially dug them out with a screwdriver to make the stakes go in easier.These will probably hold your yard equipment to the ground once install, but be careful installing them. They twist and break easily, and could stand to be a millimeter thicker.
