Colour is just perfect into our grey toned bedrooms.They are not very blackout and they still let the light through especially through the day time (but we don’t have direct sunlight beaming towards the windows and it’s still plenty enough darkness for my partner to sleep in the day time before his evening shift) and in the evening they work perfectly well.I ordered two sizes and I thought I would keep the smaller width to just evenly cover the window (using one panel for each bedroom), I didn’t want the curtain to be too gathered on one side limiting the light in the day time but smaller width was letting through too much light on sides and I am keeping the bigger size.They are longer than needed (there wasn’t the exact length for our windows) they work great tucked in in the evening as not to obstruct the heating in winter.I should probably iron them before hanging but it works for now.They seem well finished as well and material is quite thick (not as thick as two materials blackout curtains) but that makes the curtains more lightweight and easy to glide.

Sadly this particular brand of curtain isn't suitable for curtain wire, which I didn't read when I ordered them. The ends are sewn, there's no hole for the curtain wire to go through. Luckily I have a stitch ripper tool, needle, thread and the skills to alter. Alternatively, I could have returned them, I left it too late though. These curtains are very good value for money. They are thermal and light reduction is good. They have been made for a curtain track and I could quite easily put a curtain track up, on my wooden baton, which was on the wall already. These curtains are a lovely shade of navy blue, they feel velvety to the touch and are very well made. The best part is the drop measurement. For some reason I couldn't find a pair that I wanted to buy, in the measurement drop I required. I have now.😁 They haven't got a lining, nor had my other thermal curtains though and they really are thermal. I'd buy another pair, a different colour I think, whilst I give these a wash, it says cold water, but machine washable, don't bleach, tumble dry and iron on low heat. So there you go. I'd recommend to a friend.

These curtains were purchased for a bedroom with a bay window. The curtains are very neatly made from a good quality fabric. The curtains in this review are light-beige, which block around 50% of light. Darker colours will be more effective. Thermal properties are good, both in keeping the room warm or cool. The size was accurate to within a centimetre - very good. The stitching is neat and precise. The tape-top has two rows for the hooks, three rows would have been preferable. The colour is very accurate with the colour of the actual product being almost identical to the colour on the Amazon website.Recommend - Yes. Buy Again - Yes.UPDATE. Lovely curtains. Purchased the Sage Green and the colour in the picture matched perfectly. Out of the packaging impressed with the laundry label as wanted to iron before hanging. Curtains ironed lovely and helped the overall look when hung. The only slight negative but this may be more of my ability to gather neatly is when gathered in on the strings it is incredibly difficult to get a nice neat pleat.Once hung we drew the curtains in the middle of the day and were really impressed with how dark they were despite not having a lining. But this also meant that they were able to open wider allowing more light in through the window.I was particularly pleased with the range of sizes available as so few curtains available came in a 57 inch drop.Overall really pleased.
