I first used the arm with a AT2035 mic with an attached extension. It worked fine. But when I tried attaching the shock mount of the AT2035 directly to the arm, the thread is tight and won’t let in the mount fully to secure properly. Didn’t expect from Fifin to have such a glitch. The thread is not clean. But by the time the return window is closed and can’t return.Also the arm is too stiff to maneuver. Better to be a little more relaxed. Hope the brand listens.Rest assured the build quality and materials are great. Hope this helps.

I bought a second one because the first one worked well when recording with my condensor mics. Delivery was prompt.

The arm is very stiff. I need both hands to move the arm in position via angles. Swivels fine and head piece adjustments are all easy. Just the arm joins will require two full hands to move which makes me fear for the table.Cheap and affordable compared to other boom arms and doesn't have coils was an important aspect for when I picked out this boom arm. The aesthetics are pleasing for the price point but the stiffness can be improved.

The arm is so stiff that trying to move it at all will move my entire desk or break the mount holding it. I would not recommend this at all.

The media could not be loaded.  This is an okay product, the arm works as intended and is better than seeing bare springs. However it seems to be very stiff to move around, the screw into the mic seems to spin freely which isn’t great either
