Works as good as advertised
We bought this to lift travertine pavers that had settled in around out patio. The suction on this is strong enough to work with rough/porous travertine pavers. Depending on how clean/dry the travertine is determines how long the suction will hold. If the tiles are relatively clean and wet, this will hold a vacuum way longer than you need to lift or lay down a tile. You can also get these to work on dry travertine that are dirty with sandy grit long enough to pull it out or put it in place if you work fast. Obviously this was made for smooth surfaces like glass or tile and the suction would probably hold forever, but if you use your common sense and know this is technically not the right tool for porous stone you'll be happy with it's effectiveness lifting pavers. There's no way I'm going back to the the screwdriver paver removal method again now that we found this. make sure you buy the size that will fit your tile.

You Need These!
OMG. If you move heavy sheets of anything slick, these are a must have! Bought these for a window install project. After struggling to hoist the windows off the truck at delivery, with two big strong men to help. Two women carried four different sets of 7-foot wide double-paned, mulled-together, double hung windows up a flight of stairs (they're about 200 pounds per window) and installed them by leaning them through the opening then pulling them back in. Whew. Thank goodness we had these suction cups!Yesterday, I needed to move some heavy folding tables. Noticed the nice little blue box of suctions cups on the shelf in the garage as I was debating whether to wait until someone else got home. I used them to carry folding tables by myself. No Problem!Love these things!

These suction cups work great. We use them for granite
These suction cups work great. We use them for granite, quartz, marble and glass. They hold suction well. My only complaint is that they come with 10 cent boxes. One of the two I ordered actually came with a broken latch on the box. Still worth it in my mind. A nicer box would have made it 5 stars.

DAMO suction cups are very sturdy and reliable
DAMO suction cups are very sturdy and reliable - they never slipped. Used for moving my 300lb aquarium and worked flawlessly! Worked better than my expectations and as advertised. No slipping and easy to use. Just pump the plunger til it can't pump any more and its ready to go. To release, just push the lever on opposite end of pump. Highly recommended! Truly heavy duty!

NO building climbing
I had to replace my old one, let a 'friend' borrow it and it never found its way back home. :-(the new one does the job well. This time no one is going to borrow it. I uses it for glass shower doors install & window replacements. NO building climbing

The tool worked perfectly but the case broke as soon ...
The tool worked perfectly but the case broke as soon as I openned it. The case is very important to protect the cup from future damage.
