After 52 years of breeding show dachshunds, I can safely say this is a great whelping box. The light pole is a great idea and then I don’t have to find something to clip the heat lamp to. The mat is extremely absorbent and washes great. Easily cleaned, soooooo easy!!! I did order another one but a little bigger as the litter that is in it right now is small and the next litter will be bigger. Wonderful product! I even put it together…and I am very inept at most things!!!! Thank you for making such a quality product!!!! I only have one suggestion…somehow please make a place for buckets 🪣 or bowls of water. Otherwise perfect!!!!

I breed mini dachshunds and this whelping bed is definitely a game changer from the first whelping box I used! It is very sturdy. I do not have a problem with it sliding or moving around. It’s just heavy enough for the puppies to be able to jump up on it and it still stays where it was put but not too heavy that I can’t move it if I need to. Very easy to because it doesn’t have those annoying crevices! It’s a very safe space for mom and pups. I like that the door has two sizes for the mom to come in and out and to keep the puppies in, I highly recommend this whelping Bed

The box was good for the smaller litter I had, but anything more than the two pups would’ve had it crammed for a dog that’s large.

Easy to assemble and easy to clean with a rag. The material is a little cheap, but for the price point it’s a great whelping box!

The media could not be loaded. Absolutely love this box! This was very well packed when it arrived. No damage at all. The box it came in is big enough that you could actually use it for a whelping pen and then throw it away afterwards. That’s what I did. Be sure to put the mama in the box when setting it up to make sure that the pig rails are lower than her back. I did have to lower the pig rails By cutting down the wood pieces that screw on. Pretty easy to do that. This came with a really nice soft waterproof pad for underneath that Is wider than the box, which keeps it nice and snug. I did add an extra soft blanket under The pad for comfort. Then I added a soft blanket on top. Make sure your blanket is one that won’t snag so they won’t get their nails caught in it. I didn’t think I would need the heat lamp, but found out that I didn’t eat it later after the babies were born. It was easy to install, but I would install it before pups are born. The lamp fits nicely on top and it is easily adjustable. Are used a flood light With a metal cover, and it works perfectly. Inside the box, I put one of my blink cameras, and a digital thermometer so I knew what the temperature was at. Changing the blanket is easier if you step inside of the box and pull the blanket up from the center. In the box is heavy enough that it keeps everything in place. Super happy with this. The pups love to lay under the pig rail. I did add the pool noodlesOn the opening because when my mama decided to jump out the pub with land on the rail. Having a pool noodle there just made it safer. Last thing I said, a porch out for her to sit on where she was tall enough just to take a break and she could still see in the box. And of course Amazon sells cool blankets like the pink one that she’s sitting on outside the box. That really helped also. Hope this helps you and good luck with your pups.

Building was really easy and not hard to understand, The cleanup is simple and easy, It's tall to give the mom and her pups privacy which was good, The quality of the material is OK... Not the best of the best but it's definitely manageable, Appearance wise it's great to see a bunch of little pups sleeping and running around, Had no issues with the safety of the pups since the lamp was high enough for them to stay warm. Definitely get your measurements right before ordering for your litter.

Very impressed with quality and customer service of this item. It’s sturdy, well made and perfect size for our frenchie. Unfortunately, we had a small piece missing but the customer service immediately fixed the issue and sent a replacement asap. Highly recommend.
