A little fan that's big on features and options
From reading the other reviews it's clear this listing has changed over time to accommodate different products and options. This review is applicable to "Koonie 8'' Wall Mount Fan, Quiet Small Wall Fan with Timer, 8.2ft Wired Remote, 80° Oscillation, 100° Adjustable, 3 Speeds High Velocity for RV Bedroom Kitchen Office Garage(Adapter Included)", which is the product I bought (black in color).I really wanted a ceiling fan but that wasn't possible in this space so I figured a wall-mounted fan placed high near the ceiling would be the next best thing. It is. I was kind of surprised how expensive wall-mounted fans have become, and I bought this one because it was on the lower end of the range at $39 that had all the features I needed, primarily being small enough to install easily, move enough air, not too loud, and being able to control it without having to directly access the fan itself because being installed out of reach near the ceiling. There are 3 different ways to install it on a wall; attaching the included metal plate to the wall with screws and hanging the fan on the plate, using the included glue to glue the plate to the wall, or not using the plate at all and simply hang the fan from a single screw or nail from a screw slot for that purpose on the top center of the fan base. I didn't see #3 anywhere in the instructions but fortunately I saw the slot before drilling an extra, unnecessary hole in the wall plus adding a step to the installation with an unnecessary metal plate. Maybe it's quieter with the extra install steps? Since I find the fan quiet enough as is, I'll probably never find out.On highest speed the fan moves a surprising amount of air across a small room for a 10 watt motor. Of course it makes noise (all fans do), but I don't find it unusually loud or annoying. This is a USB powered fan. It comes with a 10 watt USB adapter. Since almost everything comes with a USB port nowadays this adds options on how one chooses to power the fan if the port can handle 10 watts, which most newer ones do. The fan is controlled via a two-button switch housing placed between the fan and the end of the USB cable. One button turns the fan on (press 3 times to get to high speed) and the other button sets the timer or long-press it to turn the oscillating feature on/off. There are also (nearly hidden) buttons on the fan itself to control these functions. Oscillating means that the fan sweeps from side-to-side so it can move air over a wider area. I usually use it in a fixed position, but its nice to know I have the option if I change my mind. The fan is easily adjusted up, down, left or right with a wide range of motion so it's simple to direct the flow of air just about anywhere. If the fan is installed out of reach like mine is, it's convenient to turn the oscillating function on and off via the cable-mounted switch, and the oscillating stops as soon as the button is pressed, so one doesn't have to directly access the fan to set the horizontal position. The fan is rugged- I accidentally dropped it from near the ceiling and it fell over 8 feet to the concrete floor below and it was surprisingly undamaged. One improvement I can think of for an 8" fan like this that would make it a true 5 star product (I give this 4.5 stars): at this price point it should also have a wireless remote. Notice I said "also", meaning, keep the existing buttons but also include a keychain-sized cheap wireless remote. It's nice that I don't have to directly access the fan, but I still have to walk across the room to get to the power cable. This is advertised as having a "wired remote" but that's a pretty weak description of "remote" because remote implies that the control unit would terminate in your hand (or wherever you set it), not at a fixed location tethered between the power outlet and the fan.

The fan remembers the last setting after power is lost and then restored
Update:The second fan works. My use case is to ventilate a basement bathroom. The bathroom does have an exhaust vent, but it’s not very efficient. And I previously used a small USB powered fan that didn’t provide enough air movement. This fan is relatively quiet and moves plenty of air for the small bathroom. And it comes with a metal wall mount bracket. Because I have a Home Assistant home automation system, I configured a smart plug to be turned on when a humidity sensor is triggered. The smart plug zwave auto off parameter was set for 30 minutes and it shuts off automatically, so the fan runs for 30 minutes once the humidity level in the bathroom increases to my trigger level. And this fan does remember the last setting, so it works perfectly for my needs.Original review:The fan was discovered to be defective upon initial testing. In the high speed mode the fan would start to spin up and then shut down, and this repeated indefinitely. The fan itself with the size that I was looking for, had a good oscillating function, and more importantly, the fan remembered the last setting after power was removed and then restored. My intent was to connect this fan to a smart power plug and use my home automation system to control it based on the humidity in a small bathroom. I’m giving a three stars because everything else with the fan was good besides the defective high speed setting. So I’m going to order one more fan from this manufacturer and see if it works.

Good quality and functionality.
I got two of these to move air inside each of my sons’ stifling bed tents. They were easy to install and are pretty quiet. They oscillate silently, and really move the air around. We haven’t tried them in the warmer months, but I’d assume they’re better than nothing. The only complaints my kids have are about the blue light on the wired remote. It’s extremely bright. I fixed the issue with a piece of electrical tape. Nice for a small space.

Great little fan
This seemed a little pricey for such a small fan and had my doubts about airflow. But it is a great little fan. Has 3 settings and oscillates quietly. Includes USB charger which makes it even more versatile. Bought it for RV and works perfectly.

Fan
Will stop periodically. All power sources are working. It just cuts out and then when I barely touch it, it starts again. I think it has a short and it’s a hazard. Can’t even use it!!
