I had to replace a couple to braces on my umbrella recently. Alex and the Purple Leaf team did an excellent job in helping me secure the two arms along with a video on how to replace them. He was in constant touch with me through the whole process always asking how he could help. You only wished that every manufacture was as good as these guys.The product itself is of excellent quality and very easy to raise and lower considering its size. The only advice I have is to be sure to completely fill the weighted containers all the way to obtain the proper support for the umbrella. Rich.

Update!! I am now okay with the ease of opening and turning of umbrella. after the first hard time opening and turning I am now able to do it without any help. It may have been hard because it sat for a month after putting it up at our camper..Love the umbrella. Easy to install. looks niceOnly 4 stars because as a 5'3" 66 yr old woman i cant raise it up or turn it because it to hard,The crank is fine but need my husbamd for the restI dont know if i WD40 would helpMaybe the more it is used will losen up.

This large shade covers four chairs and two small tables on our patio, making the space more usable during the day and evening. It is effective at shading the area and straight forward to put up and down and to tilt. The color is true to the pictures. It is better to install and site with two people. Communication with the company was excellent and they resolved my question efficiently. I also bought the base and cover so it is stable and protected from the rain storms we get here. I bought sand for the base locally.

This is a solid, well constructed umbrella that in spite of its large size, is easy to assemble, and once assembled, to manipulate. It is exactly what we were hoping for. I also want to shout out some amazing customer service by the manufacturer, who responded to my request for assistance and need for an additional help with a promptness and cooperativeness that went beyond my expectations. I would highly recommend the product and the people who make it.

The base does not come with the umbrella. All the pictures show the umbrella with the base and it does not state anywhere in the description that the base is not included. I was so excited when the umbrella showed up, but then I couldn’t put it up because it does not have a base. It has this weird bracket at the end that you have to put sandbags on. I would not have purchased this umbrella if I knew that. I do not want a bunch of sandbags around my pool to hold up this umbrella. It will not look nice. I’m considering returning because I do not want to have to spend all that extra money for the base.The company sent me an open box base. I received it very quickly and it is in perfect condition. I appreciate their prompt response to resolving the issue. I love the umbrella by the pool.

I am actually writing a review of the Purple Leaf Customer Service. I had ordered this umbrella. I decided I wanted a different product. I tried to cancel my order with Amazon but was told it was to late and I would have to work directly with Purple Leaf Customer Service. I contacted customer service and they had already shipped my order. Customer service asked why I wanted to cancel my order. Upon explaining my issue they offered me a reduced price to keep the item. I refused their generous offer and said I wanted to return the product. Purple Leaf made arrangements to return the product, paid the shipping. cost and gave me a full refund. I then ordered a different umbrella from Purple Leaf. I am so thankful to Purple Leaf for the way they worked to resolve my issue.

Purchased this umbrella and there was a defective rubber piece that holds the cloth to the metal I didn’t want to return the umbrella as I like it.Contacted seller and after sending pictures of the part, they said that they are sending me a new part by Fed Ex.
