I could start my own library with all the embroidery books I have purchased, but this one is one, I'll never loan out. Wonderful ideas on how to combine stitches in unique ways with easy to follow instructions. Excellent photographs, too.

Fantastic, well written and illustrated book. I have been doing needle crafts now for a few years and debated about buying this book, do I really need one more embroidery book (I also have one other of Jennifer’s). Well, yes, yes I do. Certainly this book covers the basics, but then goes on to explain “process” of how to design a Freeform embroidery and what to consider. For a non artistic type this was exactly what I needed. How to design a piece and show movement and points of interest. I am so happy to have this book in my collection and highly encourage you to add it to your embroidery library. So worth it. Great for trying something new based on stitches already known.

If you are an experienced embroiderer, who really wants to up the game with your embroidery - then this book is for you. Pictures are exquisite along with the excellent instructions as how to accomplish them. After carefully reading the instructions, I can now design new combinations of stitches to achieve the results which I'm dreaming of with confidence. I totally encourage you to obtain a copy of this book.
