This device was really fun to use. I normally shoot video work on my mirrorless and gimbal and have always felt a little uncomfortable with the ergonomics of cellphone video. This device really helped alleviate that feeling and made it pretty fun to do video with the phone.The body is all metal and feels great. Nicely milled, no sharp edges, and great spring action on the phone holster part. I tried several phones in it and they all fit great, even ones with cases. There's even an opening on the bottom so you can run a charge cable to your phone. Sadly I think the back of the phone is blocked just enough for anyone wanting to use a magnet charger on it.The handles fit easily in place and have little ridges that prevent them from tilting during use, and with both of them on the whole kit feels really stable.The only real critiques I have about this device is that there's no lock for the phone, so if you pick it up from the right side of the cage with enough force it potentially could loosen your phone. I also didn't care that the tripod mounts aren't flush but rather a little into the frame.Lastly it's not a critique, but more of a heads up. Any items you put on the cold shoe will overflow. It's just the nature of the design.The only suggestion I really have is with a lot of killer mics like the DJI Wireless Mic and the Rode Wireless Go series, it would be nice to have another hot shoe mount on the top right side so you can run a cord to the open USB port on the bottom.Overall this was really awesome to work with and film with. I really liked it, and the cost is in line with the quality the product is.

This is a brilliantly versatile camera cage for mobile production. The mounting handles can mount in several different configurations making this extremely flexible for all situations. The cold shoe mounts are just as prolific, making it easy for me to get all my accessories on the cage. The cage is sturdy and large enough to fit the device even with its own case still on it. This is really a fantastic product that lends an image of professionalism when shooting with mobile devices.
