broke within 3-4 months, though it was under warranty still. I was offered a replacemen, but Amazon did give me a full refund so I opted for that, so props to love honey and Amazon none the less.However after trying other wands, this one isn’t great, it vibrates, but the vibrations are very weak and certainly not very rumbley or deep. If you’re shopping around this price point I’d say a doxy is worth the extra they cost. This truly is just a cheap vibrator with a well-known brand attached to it. My advice would be to avoid.

Let’s put it this way, this combined with a silicon “chicken” ring made me hit my face.

Overheats after 20 minutes

Surprised and disappointed to find that even Lovehoney goes all coy on the product page, and describes this as a general purpose massager. Yes, it probably would ease a stiff muscle, but of course we all know it’s intended mainly for erotic purposes, and particularly female pleasure.It’s good to see a new mains wand on the market. They’re in danger of being pushed aside by all the little battery-powered toys. But, if you’ve got a socket anywhere near your bed, there’s no substitute for a toy that you can reach out for, knowing that it will never be out of power, and will have all the vibrating power you could want.This Lovehoney wand fits the bill well. It feels well made, and doesn’t get warm even after it’s been running for a while. The mains plug is also an adaptor that reduces the voltage, so you don’t need to worry about putting mains electricity near your sensitive places. The head is nice and broad – about 6cm diameter - and the neck does bend under pressure. We would have liked it a bit more bendy, but perhaps it will soften with use.The +/- controls increase and decrease the vibration speed, down to a nice rumble. The description on the product page refers to vibration ‘modes’. This is misleading: there are none of the vibration patterns that are almost always offered on battery toys. It just goes faster or slower. On the other hand, the strength of the vibrations reaches heights never found on smaller toys. Hard to imagine they won’t deliver satisfaction. In spite of the power, the noise levels compare well with smaller vibrators.The widely ranging, and generally high prices of mains wands are a mystery, but this one seems about mid-range. One small complaint is that you’d think that for the price - £54.99 at review – it would come with a storage bag or (better) a case. But, overall, it’s a very acceptable version of a proven toy.

While I can't say I have much experience with this kind of massager, I can say that this one is well made, versatile and powerful. I have no doubt it will cater well to the needs of people who want such a device and have a conveniently located power socket.There is much fun to be had with trying all the different modes and trying it in different places.
