I bought this wheel chair for my husband, who after a 4 month stay in hospital, was returned to me bed bound and needing to be hoisted into and out of bed. It has proved to be invaluable as he is now able to spend his days in our living room instead of in bed all day. Hopefully, when the weather is warmer we will be able to get him outside.I found this wheel chair to be robust. moves easily through door ways, and it's very reasonable price means I would not hesitate to recommend it.

I bought this chair about 6 weeks ago and used it for the first time yesterday (unfortunately just 3 days past the return window so I can't send it back)The issue (as seen in the photos) is that the wheels are too close to sides of the wheelchair, and there are big screws which stick out and press into the wheels - this makes to feel like pushing it with the brakes on (but they aren't) and makes and awful noise, because the metal rims on the wheels are grinding on the screws.It's such a huge design flaw it makes me wonder if this product was ever actually tested.Until this flaw is confirmed as fixed I recommend you don't buy this wheelchair!!!
