The purple ombre hair truly is as bright as the pictures depict! I got tons of compliments wearing this hair.Save yourself the stress of having enough and buy 2 packs (a total of 280 braids). It took about 189 braids to cover my head enough to hide my scalp (so 1 pack of 140 plus 49 braids from the 2nd pack).I will say that I'm not sure if it's worth trying to use the hair more than once. Installing the hair frayed some of the braids (but not by very much). And after wearing them for 2 months and taking them out, almost all of the strands had minimal to moderate fraying. I'm still debating on whether it's worth it to wash and snip all the frayed ends to get a second use. For the price, it's probably easier just to buy 1 pack and combine it with the hair I didn't use before.No matter where you buy your hair, always wash it before you wear it to prevent itching! Soak for at least 12 hours in water with two cups white distilled vinegar and one cup apple cider vinegar. Dump the vinegar water out and then let it sit in water that's combined with Dawn dish soap and your favorite shampoo that smells good for at least 2 to 4 hours. And then agitate the water/wash them, rinse them, and then let them air dry on a towel. (I might be using more vinegar than necessary, but if you've ever had to deal with a head full of itchy braids, you know it's better to be overzealous than not!) I also only soak half of the braids at a time because I use a smaller container.TL:DR: Buy 2 packs, wash them before wear, and live your best life!

Hair is extremely soft and lightweight! No smell at all. I even soaked the hair in vinegar to remove the coating that tends to make synthetic hair aggravating to the scalp. No film left behind and no itch!

The hair was great. I only needed one pack. I returned one pack I only need one pack it was enough hair. The only thing returning the hair is difficult. It took me few days to get hair my return taking very long time. Unable to get update on my return. Other then that the hair is great hopefully I will receive my refund soon.

I am obsessed with the braids. They are beautiful soft and easy to use. I installed these myself as a first timer. I bought 2 packs but I only needed 1. Worth it.

I'm a foster mom taking care of an african american girl (we hope to adopt) and I love when I'm done doing her hair, but have always DREADED spending 12 1/2+ hours on extensions. Somehow the salon does them in 4 hours, but we doubled the braids (about 63) and I have my sister help for a few hours and the whole process would still take me 12 1/2 hours to complete. It was exhausting. When I heard about crotchet from Styles4Kidz, I had to try them. These take us about 3 1/2 hours to braid her hair and then crotchet the extensions in. They don't look as perfect as regular extensions but I don't dread doing them and my daughter is still much happier with her style than when she has natural hair styles. I'd love to always do these for her because they cut the style time down to just a quarter of what it used to take and without my sister's help. I need to get better at what pattern to braid her hair underneath to get the crochet to look more natural on top, but i'm I'm learning every time! And these just make it so easy. The crochet hook broke the first time (the metal just popped out of the plastic handle) so I hot glued it back together, it lasted a little white, then came apart so I glued it again and now it's stuck pretty good. The second time we bought these the crochet hook did not come appart so we're still pretty happy with it. My daughter doesn't like the little "beads" that come with it, we were expecting multi-colored beats but they only ever send gold and she would prefer pink and purple or ANYTHING but gold. So that was a little disappointing as the photos of the product show mult-colored "beads." We didn't buy the hair because of the beads though so it doesn't lose any stars for that.

I can not believe these were such as good value. It was the perfect amount for my daughters crochet braids and MUCh cheaper than buying them at the beauty shop. GREAT BUY!
