If you have seen red clay dirt, you have seen the color of the water I get from my well.I was on a water system that used tall filter containers filled with 'stuff' that I had to pay someone once a year to change out. Also used electricity for timers and back-washing each week, also resulting is flushing out gallons and gallons of this water into my yard.I changed this system out for the Express Water whole house system that uses 3 different 4.5" x 20" filters including these sediment filters. I specifically ordered the 'heavy metals' version for all of the iron content I have.These filters are performing at or better level than the 'professional' system I had. And no chemicals, electricity or yearly appointments. Though there is still cost, it is less than the yearly fee for the tech to come over and do it.These would work great for even a simple single filter system. You can go a long time before needing to change one.

This is our second whole house unit from this company. (We bought another house). I had a small leak at the pressure relief button and emailed the company. They were right on it! No delays in response times. We sent them pictures of where it was leaking and they sent replacement parts out the same day. The repair was actually really easy and the parts sent were exactly what we needed, and there was NO charge for the repair parts. I will continue to recommend this company and product 100 %.

I installed my water filter 7 months ago and changed the SED filter today. The pic shows how dirty the city water is. All the sediment collects in the water heater and soft water tank. I only bought two which is the reason I gave it four stars, I will buy the 10 or 20 pack next time and the value will be great. The filters are very easy to change make sure you put a pan or some rags under the filter to catch the water. One caution when full of water the canister is heavy and easy to spill.
