I really wanted a product that didn't make my hair look like I had slicked it down with motor oil but I also wanted a bit of control over my stubborn hair. This wax is perfect and I think I'm on my 4th or 5th year of using it. The day they stop making this is the day I will have to turn into hermit and never show my unruly head in public ever again.The only downside I can think of is the packaging. The container is far too large to hold the amount of wax that's in there. The bottom is almost a quarter of the total volume and it seems to just be solid plastic. It's a bit wasteful and slightly misleading but it's just a minor nitpick from me.

Smells like my grandmothers hair salon! Vanilla fragrance is in there somewhere I suppose?I do like the hold without my hair feeling stiff. Dear Blind Barber, can you offer something without all the friggin stink? I really don't want to announce my arrival before I get there.

I like this type of wax for my hair type which is straight. Like that its not shinny and smells great. It has medium matte hold. Overall, I would recommend.
