I need only one yard and pronto for a project I was working on, and honestly was too lazy to drive all the way into town to search for a fabric at the 3 craft stores there. I ordered this ticking fabric, and it came within a couple days. It was much nicer than I expected, and heavy weight enough for a chair seat which I was re-upholstering. I liked the ease of working with it, and it looks great on the chair. The extra I have left over will make great matching pillows. Recommend.

The web site shows the fabric to its best advantage and even shows a ruler so you can see the distance between the stripes. I am using this fabric to embroider in-between the stripes to make purses as shown on the cover of an national magazine. The fabric is sturdy and easy to work with. Fast service also.Made the note case/evening purse using the red stripe. Easy to work with and came out beautifully!

Pretty thick, which was good for me, but if you want a thin material you may not want this one. But I sewed a curtain from it, so it has wonderful structure to it.
