Pelican Vault V600 Hard Case (Camera, Pistol, Gear, Equipment)

I’m a consultant and do a lot of travel. While I don’t need to bring it all the time, it can be convenient to bring a printer with me on some trips. I bought a great little HP laser jet and got this case to protect it and make transport easier. Big fan.

This is my first pelican case, and I am using it to hold podcast video and audio equipment. The foam inside is very sturdy, and there is ample room for plenty of equipment. In spite of the over all sides of this case, it is not very heavy on the tone. The latches are amazing and strong, yet easy to operate with a pushbutton release. I would highly recommend the sturdiness of this case for anyone wanting to protect their equipment. The foam inside can be cut most easily with an electric bread knife.

These are the gold standard in protective cases.I've gotten a few of these for work to transport electronics and circuit boards that ultimately end up on the space station.We can't afford to take the risk of an item getting damaged in transport and not finding out until a unit fails in orbit.Because of that, it's always Pelican.They close tight, they're weatherproof, and you can throw them across the room and the contents will be just as they were when you loaded them.

This case is a smaller version of their largest case that I already owned. I was impressed with the quality-to-price value and I was not disappointed in this case either. It's waterproof and strong. Thumb buttons to open the clasps which lock in place and strong rimmed holes for padlocks to keep your items secure. The padding is quality stuff that will safely protect just about anything that will fit inside.

Don’t like the different sized foam inserts and bottom pad that isn’t flush.

I've waited nearly two years to purchase either one of the "custom" cases for the Rodecaster or go the DIY route. I went for the later because the cost was about half and I could cut the foam to fit the very microphones I'm using, Earthworks Icon Pros, instead of the typical precut for Rode mics. I pulled the trigger with my bonus money and couldn't be happier. It has space for my headphones, mics, power supply and naturally the Rodecaster itself. Everyones needs are unique so I can't speak for them but for myself this does the trick and I wish I hadn't waited. Heartily recommend.

This case comes with the option for removing the foam and most weapons depending on the stocks they should fit comfortably. The case is capable of using a lot of different style locks and very durable. I do wish you could custom order these kinds of items with your desired height desired. Since this is injection press molding.

Fits perfect on my Hyte Revolt 3 ITX Gaming Case with extra room for my mouse & keyboard and possibly a 15” monitor. Feels sturdy and premium material. Will follow up review when I start traveling.
